Immediate opening: sewing machine operator (Zamfara State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Bukkuyum, Zamfara State. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Full-time, day shift.
