Vacancy available: gang bricklayer (Mississippi)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Jasper County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time, day shift.
