Occupational health and safety officer — Butler County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Butler County, Nebraska. You will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
