Elevator repair technician • Unicoi County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Unicoi County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Full-time with occasional weekends.
