Urgent requirement: we are hiring a car painter in Tuolumne County, California. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. The role involves: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
