Structural MIG welder • Perry County, Mississippi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Perry County, Mississippi. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration.
