Tree and shrub pruner • Overton County, Tennessee

Now hiring: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Overton County, Tennessee. You will work in a botanical garden. Day-to-day duties: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting 3+ years on the tools preferred.
