Finishing presser — Grand Isle County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Grand Isle County, Vermont. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On the job you will handle: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
