Foundry worker • Walton County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Walton County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 1+ years on the tools preferred.
