Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Dallas County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery 5+ years on the tools preferred.
