Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Hamilton County, Kansas. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
