What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods The role involves compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting.
