Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Woodford County, Illinois. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 1+ years on the tools preferred.
