Paint booth operator — Durham County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Durham County, North Carolina. You will work at a fabrication and coating plant. Requirements: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes Day to day you will inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $9,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
