Now hiring: we are hiring a banquet server in Marin County, California. You will work in a coffee shop. The role involves: • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner We offer $230 per day plus benefits.
