Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Irwin County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
