Vacancy available: we are hiring a security officer in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. You should have: • Height and weight as per security norms • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours • 1-2 years experience as a security guard Your main tasks: • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover • Operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds • Respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts • Patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals • Raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency Six days a week, one day off. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
