Glazing fabricator — Cerro Gordo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a glazing fabricator in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. You will be based at a doors and windows manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads Ideal candidate: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
