Now hiring: we are hiring a HGV driver in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work at a busy distribution depot. The role involves check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; present documents at weighbridges and check posts.
