GTAW welder • Haywood County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Haywood County, North Carolina. Day to day you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
