Production welder — Wayne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Wayne County, New York. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
