Banksman — York County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in York County, South Carolina. You will work at a power plant. The role involves: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Six days a week, one day off.
