Cnc setter-operator — Howard County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Howard County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Write and edit G-code programs at the control You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
