Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Blair County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
