Urgent requirement: foundry operative (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Dillon County, South Carolina. On a typical shift you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
