Machine operator • Kent County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator in Kent County, Michigan. You will be based in a textile mill. On the job you will handle: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
