Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Putnam County, West Virginia. The job is at a manufacturing plant. The role involves ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
