Vacancy available: hydraulic crane operator (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Crawford County, Kansas. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Current medical and eyesight certificate Day to day you will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger.
