Press operator wanted in Little River County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Little River County, Arkansas. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Day-to-day duties: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Six days a week, one day off.
