Tyre service technician • Cayuga County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Cayuga County, New York. You will work at a busy tyre bay. Day-to-day duties: • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills Ideal candidate: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
