Vertical transportation technician — Coles County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Coles County, Illinois. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables.
