The role involves cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts.
