Bar bender and fixer wanted in Berrien County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Berrien County, Georgia. You will be based on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
