Overlocker operator — Kewaunee County

Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Rotating shifts.
