Ground source heat pump installer — North Northamptonshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ground source heat pump installer in North Northamptonshire, England. The job is at a social housing retrofit scheme. The role involves: • Fit condensate drainage from the outdoor unit • Fit and wire room thermostats, zone valves and smart controls • Pressure test the refrigerant circuit with nitrogen and check for leaks • Braze copper refrigerant lines using oxy-acetylene or nitrogen purge • Connect flow and return pipework to the buffer tank or cylinder • Weigh in and charge the correct refrigerant gas per manufacturer spec What we are looking for: • 18th Edition wiring regs or equivalent electrical competency • Willing to travel to domestic and small commercial sites • MCS or manufacturer-accredited heat pump installer certification Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
