Gas pipe fitter wanted in Fannin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Fannin County, Georgia. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
