Refrigeration installation technician • Poweshiek County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Poweshiek County, Iowa. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. On the job you will handle: • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Part-time with flexible hours.
