Pipe tig welder • Bell County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Bell County, Kentucky. You will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
