Gypsum plasterer — Avoyelles Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. Day-to-day duties: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming What we are looking for: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
