Cnc turning machinist — Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm We offer $3,750 per project plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
