Rigging foreman — Deschutes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Deschutes County, Oregon. The job is at a shipyard. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On a typical shift you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
