Concrete finisher wanted in Garden County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Garden County, Nebraska. You will be based in a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules On a typical shift you will cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms.
