Immediate opening: die-casting operator (Oklahoma)

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Pawnee County, Oklahoma. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Your main tasks: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
