Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Gudu, Sokoto State. Day-to-day duties: • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils You should have: • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff Pay around ₦75,000 per month, based on your experience.
