Packaging machine operator wanted in McDonough County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in McDonough County, Illinois. You will work in a textile mill. The role involves report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Good attention to detail and steady hands 1+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
