Join our team: steel fixer (Missouri)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in City of Saint Louis, Missouri. You will work on a busy residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
