Heat pump commissioning engineer wanted in Herefordshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a heat pump commissioning engineer in Herefordshire, England. You will be based on a domestic renovation retrofitting a heat pump. Day-to-day duties: • Connect the heat pump to underfloor heating manifolds or radiators • Weigh in and charge the correct refrigerant gas per manufacturer spec • Pull a vacuum on the system with a vacuum pump and micron gauge • Connect flow and return pipework to the buffer tank or cylinder • Fit and wire room thermostats, zone valves and smart controls • Pressure test the refrigerant circuit with nitrogen and check for leaks Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of heat loss calculations and system sizing • Competent brazing copper pipework and pressure testing • 18th Edition wiring regs or equivalent electrical competency 6+ years on the tools preferred.
