Reinforcement fitter wanted in Nelson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Nelson County, Kentucky. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 3+ years on the tools preferred.
