Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Lincoln County, Washington. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
