Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
